Following the successful transformation of the Ceratizit production base—recognized as the “Green Barcode for Quality”—Arrogant Architects Ltd. presents the next evolutionary stage of the complex: The New Ceratizit Training Center.

While the previous phase focused on high-tech production and sustainable industrial rehabilitation, this new volume serves as the “brain” and the “public face” of the factory. Situated on the perimeter of the production grounds directly adjacent to the street, the 2,600 sq.m. facility acts as a transparent threshold between the industrial process and the city of Gabrovo.

Design Philosophy: Democratizing Production

The core philosophy of the design is to create an open image of production. Historically, factories are closed boxes; the Training Center flips this narrative. The architecture is designed to facilitate the involvement of the local public and integrate the factory into the social fabric of the city.

The facility serves a dual purpose:

- Workforce Evolution: Elevating the technical degree of existing staff.

- Talent Attraction: Engaging school children, young professionals, and the general public to witness the modern reality of the manufacturing process, fostering a new generation of industrial talent.

Architectural Language: The Green Barcode Continues

The visual language of the Training Center is a deliberate continuation of the "Green Barcode" design philosophy established in the production reconstruction.

- Unity: The structural and façade articulation visual unites the new Training Center with the existing administrative buildings, creating a cohesive campus identity.
- Materiality: The design utilizes a simple yet efficient palette of precast concrete construction elements.
- Transparency: Large open glazing breaks the rhythm of the concrete, symbolizing the company's transparency and allowing visual permeability between the street and the interior activities.

Functional Program

The building is organized to support "Real Life" learning and social interaction:

- Simulation Zones: Dedicated spaces for real-life training on Ceratizit production processes.
- Education Hub: Lecture rooms and classrooms designed for flexibility.
- Administration: Modern offices for company management.
- Social Spaces: A welcoming reception and lounge area.
- The Panoramic Terrace: A defining feature of the project, this open-air terrace overlooks the entire production base and the beautiful riverside of the Yantra River. It serves as a visual connection between the industrial precision of the factory and the natural beauty of the landscape.
